I feel so lucky to be creating music with the following groups over the past couple of years. (A few are on haitus until the need arises to rekindle the music making, but all special nonetheless.)

Please follow this link to hear some excerpts of TBQ. http://tombakerquartet.bandcamp.com/
Guitarist Tom Baker, drummer Greg Campbell, clarinetist Jesse Canterbury and bassist Brian Cobb have been working as a quartet since 2004, playing modern avant-jazz tunes and crafting beautiful and haunting improvisations. Their music blurs the boundaries between notated music and free improvisation; the unique sonic landscapes that result are grounded in history, while pushing at the boundaries of avant-jazz music. TBQ is based in Seattle, Washington.

Crosstalk is a unique blend of jazz, chamber music, and sound art. We stack interesting harmonies and exciting improvisation on top of catchy rhythms, solid grooves, and lyrical melodies. Influences include Michael Moore (the American/Dutch clarinetist), Charles Ives, François Houle, and John Luther Adams.
March 28, 2011: Crosstalk at the Good Shepard Center, recorded on December 10, 2010.
March 14, 2011: the release of the Crosstalk Podcast on Sonarchy Radio (a live performance broadcast). To download the podcast through itunes click here.
